This is the second ornament I made, and the recipient is a dear friend. When she wrote me a letter after receiving it she informed me that her sweet pup Amber loved the ornament and wanted to wear it. I was so happy to know that my work was puppy approved ; ) I have also been busy making some sweet treats for my husbands co workers. I'll hear how those went over later in the day. Hello and welcome to my blog, Whim. For as long as I can remember I have always had a interest in fashion and jewelry. While growing up, like most little girls, I also played dress up but for me it was made even more fun by adding the jewels. I was given a box full of vintage jewelry that had belonged to women in my family and I loved how each piece sparkled. Because of this infatuation with fashion I knew early on that I wanted to go to art school and study fashion design, and when the time came that is what I did. I have attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and FIDM in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. I feel very lucky that today as a grown woman I am still playing with jewelry by designing my own pieces and now I can share each one of my sparkling creations with you.
